Cherry White are a UK based rock band with a large helping of blues added to the mix. The permanent members are responsible for the writing and artistic direction of the project, and are joined by any number of other artists and musicians to create a tapestry of music that is a testament to the melding of styles. Despite being a blues rock band we will always incorporate elements of jazz, folk, country and classical to create a sound we call our own.
We are currently working on an EP of more acoustic based songs, which will hopefully be released in early 2021 and then we have an album planned for later in 2021. The EP will be driven by the stagnation and despair that is currently felt all around, as well as the stark images we see, and forget, everyday.
The album is a concept album and has mostly been written so the concept, style and mood have been worked on, fettled and honed to create a piece of work that will take the listener on a complete journey, from madness, to salvation to despair … cheerful stuff!
